• The kids are down in the pool swimming again, I got out and went and grabbed the MacBook and brought it down. So now I’m chillin pool side. #
• Time to get some sleep. Breakfast in the morning, check out by 11:00. Then not too sure what we are doing yet. #
• The original plan for today was to take the kids to the Crayola Factory. We have come to find out they are closed today. What to do now? #
• @interceptor84 Who the hell is Grant Phildo? I googled him, and your blog, and youtube videos come up. LOL #
• @hussywoman Yeah, but it’s closed today. So it would appear that we are heading back into the Wilkes-Barre area. #
• At the Lehigh Valley Mall for lunch and to check out the Apple Store. Might be time for a MacBook upgrade. LOL #

• Re-configuring my entire network at the moment, damn Airport Express. It worked fine until I updated the firmware. #
• I’ve got the Airport Express setup to stream music, and share my Samsung laser printer. Now I need to buy a few more of them. They’re great. #
• @Twev1701 I couldn’t go into an Apple Store and not pimp out the podcast. I’ve got a few more pics as well, I will post them shortly. #
• @hussywoman That’s what happens when you have siblings. Just kick them off, and have at it. LOL #
• I should fix my Vista laptop, so that I may put some new digital goodness onto my iPhone. Maybe I will work on that now. #

Vacation is almost over.Filed Under: Family

So our little family vacation is winding down. We went down to Timmonium, MD for the Hamfest & Computefest.  There were not many good things to buy, but I did see a lot of cool stuff.  I almost bought 2 x 8 port Cisco gigabit switches, but I couldn’t verify that they were functional.  I probably should have bought them anyway since it was a pretty good deal.  We also took the kids over to Annie’s Playground so they could have some fun.  Most of the time was spent in the hotel swimming in the pool, and in the hot tub.  In all it was a pretty good trip, there were other things that we wanted to do like going to the Crayola Factory with the kids, but we found out they are closed today.  So it would appear we are just going to load up the vehicles and  head back home.

• Packing up everything for the trip to Baltimore tomorrow morning. #
• Loading up the car and then its off to the open road for a few hours. #
• I’ve got the MacBook and headset packed in case i get a chance to record the podcast tonight. #
• We made it to the hotel. Check in is not for another 4 hours. We were originally told we could swim, but that has now changed. #
• We ordered our McDonalds 20 minutes ago and still havn’t gotten it. This is horrible 50 more people in line still. #
• @hussywoman We are down here for a computer show and also to have a little vacation. #
• Just checked on the WiFi in the hotel. 1428 down, 1337 up. Acceptable for a Skype connection later if I make it into the podcast session. #
• This trip has been hell so far. 31 minute wait for McD’s. The run around at the hotel, and now our room still isn’t even ready. #
• @jerrwe Possibly. Technically we are in Belcamp about 30 miles outside the city. #
• Just consumed our delicious dinner from patsfamilyrestaurant.com. Order online and avoid any unnecessary human interaction. #
• There is a bunch of 12 year old baseball kids here as well. The chaperones are drinking heavily, and only count the kids to check on them. #
