I am ashamed that I have not made a post in almost a month. Truth be told a lot has been going on recently. Mainly the birth of Juliana. There is just so much going on, from bringing her home from the hospital for the first time, and then having her baptized.
Also there is work, which was going well until I had to go see the neurologist. My back is still not getting any better from the auto accident at work back in October of 2007. I still have pain in my neck as well, but not as bad as my back. The doctor decided to change my medicine and get me a back brace. Well it turns out I am allergic to the medicine he put me on, so it made me break out in hives pretty severely. I had to be taken out of work for a week to try to get rid of them. I’m currently doing pretty good with the progress of getting rid of the hives. The doctor has me on steroids and benadryl to do so. The only problem with this combination is the steroids make me hungry and wired, and the benadryl makes me pass out. It’s been a fun little experiment.
I’m going to try to post more often I promise. I also need to get my pingpress.fm plugin functioning again, so that I can update all my social media sites when I do post.
So for now if your reading this, thank you for being a loyal reader and stay tuned for more tech enthusiasm.
We were finally able to access the our365 site to see the Juliana’s picture. So here it is for everybody else to check out.

Well October is upon us, and that could only mean one thing. It’s Halloween time. That means it’s time to shop for halloween costumes, but with the addition of the baby it’s hard to get anything done outside of the house at the moment since she is still only a few days old. The kids were not pleased about this, so they came up with there own way to go Halloween shopping. The internet, yes of course it’s the internet they are my children after all.
After looking around for a while they found SpiritHalloween.com
. I let them browse around for a while, and it wasn’t long after that they had picked out what they wanted. The funny thing is they didn’t tell me about it, they both e-mailed me the ones they wanted. It made me so proud of my little geeks. So I officially reveal to you the Halloween 2008 costumes for Jason Jr & Janeen.
Jason Jr. has chosen.

Janeen has chosen

Now we still haven’t finalized the picks, since I’m a little worried that Janeen’s is a little risque. I will have to talk it over with the wife. Unfortunately Juliana isn’t old enough to go trick or treating yet, I mean we could dress her up, but we don’t want to risk her getting sick. But this did not stop me from looking for something cute for her, so if she was getting dressed up I picked out this.

Today is the day that all my packages arrive. I am very exited. I broke down and ordered a Black MacBook
with AppleCare and a MobileMe – Family Pack. I figured I didn’t need the power of the MacBook Pro yet, and I can wait until after MacWorld to get one if I decide that I need the power. I also wanted to save the extra money I would of spent on the MacBook Pro and use it toward the best package of them all.
The baby is coming home today. The 5 day long hospital stay is finally coming to an end, and little Juliana will finally get to come home and see her room and all of her toys and clothes. I can’t believe how much more stuff we have gotten since the baby was born. It seemed that everyday I came home I had another car full of stuff to bring into the house.

I just wanted to upload a few more pictures of little Juliana before I started running my errands and going back to see mom & baby at the hospital.

Tomorrow is the day we get to meet the newest member of our family. My wife is going into the hospital at 8:00am tomorrow in preparation for her scheduled c-section at noon. We will keep everybody updated via the baby’s website. I will more then likely cross post the information between our entire network of sites.

According to tuaw the German retailer T-Systems (a division of Deutsche Telekom/T-Mobile) which sells Apple computers posted a few new items for sale today which were then taken down shortly after everybody started talking about them. The new systems they posted may possibly be the new MacBook Pros based on the specs, and the picture posted.

Possible new MacBook Pro
The specs were listed as having either a 2.5GHz or 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard disk, and an nVidia GF 8600M GT video card. The interesting thing is that the prices listed when the item was still visible showed the prices being much cheaper then the current models. The Apple store starts with 1799 € for the MacBookPro while T-Com has systems for 1402€ (15″ – 2.4GHz-models). Larger systems are also much cheaper (1973€ vs. 2499€ for 17″).
I’m personally hoping that they announce new MacBook Pro’s soon. I am holding off on buying one, because I don’t want to buy it, and then have a new one come out a few weeks later. The other rumor’s I’ve heard point to an October 14th announcement.
We had planned on taking a trip to Tannersville today but the weather didn’t hold out. We ended up driving to Scranton and going to the Viewmont Mall.
While at the mall we ended up finding school dress code appropriate clothes for the kids at Macys of all places. The thing that shocked me was that the prices are reasonable and they are having a 30% off sale. After we got everything to the register and rung out the cashier gave us a coupon which ended up saving us another $40. It was a good trip on which we got most of the clothes for the kids. After leaving Macys we went and picked up three pairs of shoes at Payless. We still need to get another pair for Junior for basketball though.
Now we are at Texas Roadhouse enjoying some rolls and cinnamon butter while our food is being prepared. We are also waiting to hear from my sister about dropping the kids off to visit with her for a few days. Well that’s all for now. More rolls were just dropped off and I would like to consume them.

Today we had another ultrasound for the baby. It was very cool to see him / her wiggling around in Sara’s womb. The Dr. also recorded it onto VHS for us to have.
When we got home I made some burgers on the grill, and we had Sara’s parents over as well. I had to go up in the attic and unbury my VCR and hook it up temporarily so we could watch the ultrasound video. Now I need to hook it up to the computer temporarily so that I may digitize the video, and get it hosted online so I can send a link to my family spread across the country.
In other news I have been neglecting my blog, like I always do. Truth is I have gotten a part time job on top of my full time job. I am doing web design for 20 – 30 hours a week. It’s not a bad gig, and I can see myself going full time within a year or more time. I just need to keep the insurance on Sara and baby until a few months after the little one joins the family. That way we don’t have to worry about switching doctors or anything.
Well I do believe it’s time to go wake the wife up from her slumber on the couch, and make her go up to bed to get comfortable and have a good nights rest.
