I have never been one much to constantly update my blog. There were always months that would go by and I wouldn’t post a thing. Hell I still do it now, but I do find myself making micro blog posts constantly via twitter, it is much easier to post a quick blurb about what I am doing. Plus I don’t really have all that much time to write full blog posts.
Speaking of time, I started a new part time job about a month and a half ago doing web development. It’s a nice job, and the hours are great. I also get to do a lot of work from home which allows me to see the family more often. My PHP is not as strong as I’d like it to be, but it is a work in progress. The last time I did PHP work was many years ago when Trevor and I did the webcomic.
We also have a baby on the way, Sara is 21 weeks along and the baby is doing very well. We have gone for a few ultrasounds and the baby is very active. One of these days I am going to get the video digitized and posted to the interwebz for everybody in the family to see.
That’s all I’ve got for now.

Currently there is no sales tax on services in Maryland, but recently a bill was passed that will increase that from 0% to 6% exclusively on “Computer Services.” We feel that computer services is being unfairly singled out of the service industry, and this can have devastating effects on the average consumer as well as small businesses. Help fight!
This doesn’t effect PA, but it’s unfair that they are signaling out computer services only. If they want to tax services, then do it across the board.

We just finished up recording episode 2 of Growing Up Geek.
I just have to get my 3.31GB of raw audio over to him in case he needs it. It appears that we are going to start shooting for a Monday release schedule. That way if we get the recording done on Saturday we have Sunday & Monday to get all the edits done and pushed via RSS to iTunes.
Total Destructible Level!!! Lego’s…enough said!
This makes me want to get PS3, hopefully the MOD will be ported over to the PC.
